Cocktail Weenies

This is a great appetizer to have and share with family and friends. It's quick and easy with many options to prepare and cook these delicious weenies.


A HISTORY STORY: Weenies 

1830: German immigrants flock to Cincinnati and other U.S. cities, including former citizens of Frankfurt, a.k.a.“Frankfurters.”


Cocktail wieners are actual beef or pork tiny sausages, usually with some kind of smoke flavoring, hence the nickname "little smokies." In texture, they are more like a bratwurst, although they look like tiny hot dogs.

Instructions

  • Wrap Bacon around the Weenies (Option)

  • Wrap in Pastry around the Weenies (Option)

  • 3 tablespoon oil in Pan

  • Cook 3-4 mins (Pan fry and Seared) *Light pink and Brown crispy outside*

  • Add BBQ (Option)

Condiments

  • Mustard

  • Ketchup

  • BBQ Sauce

  • Hot Sauce
