(Mom's) Meat Balls

A meatball is ground meat rolled into a ball, sometimes along with other ingredients, such as bread crumbs, minced onion, eggs, butter, and seasoning. Meatballs are cooked by frying, baking, steaming, or braising in sauce. There are many types of meatballs using different types of meats and spices.


A HISTORY STORY: Even though the history of meatballs is largely unknown, this dish is believed to have originated from kofta, a Persian dish containing a mixture of meats and either rice, bulger or mashed lentils. Over time, this dish eventually spread to other countries and cultures.


Ingredients

  • 1lb Ground beef or many meat

  • 1 Egg

  • Pepper, salt, Italian spice, parley seasoning

  • Fine breadcrumbs 1/2 cup

  • 1 or 2 scoops of sour cream

  • Garlic powder onion


350 degree 30mins
