Frosty Watermelon Pupsicles (Pet Safe)

Pet Food Safety: A healthy diet is important for everyone, even your pets! When picking out the right food for your pet, there are important things to consider.

!!! It is important that you remove any seeds that are in the watermelon and remove the rind completely from the watermelon that you are using to make this pet treat. If your pet were to seeds they might end up causing an intestinal blockage. That is a serious health issue that could cause some painful problems for your pet.!!!

Equipment 

• Bowls

• Blender

• Strainer

• ice cube trays (you can pick fun shapes) or silicone bone molds which will be easier to take the treats out

Ingredients

• 2 cups of seedless watermelon (should be pureed)

• 1 cup of coconut water or milk

• 1 tablespoon of honey (this is optional)

Instruction

1. Start by scooping out the watermelon. It must be a seedless watermelon for this recipe to work. You can strain the watermelon juice to make sure there are no seeds.

2. Add the coconut water or milk and honey (if you want ) to the blender with the pureed watermelon. Blend it all together well.

3. When done blending put them in the ice trays or silicone models make sure you put them on a flat surface or else it would sticky and spill. You can use a small cooking sheet.

4. Freeze the treats overnight and the next day have your pet enjoy them.
